Mary A. Kuhn


Mary A. Kuhn, mother of Father George J. Kuhn, pastor of St. Joseph's parish in Yonkers, died on April 22 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. She was 96. Born in New York City, Mrs. Kuhn was a longtime resident of the Parkchester section of the Bronx where she was a parishioner of St. Helena's. Since 1992, she had resided at Mary Manning Walsh Home in Manhattan. She was predeceased by her husband, George F. Kuhn, who died in 1960. Along with Father Kuhn, she is survived by two daughters, Dolores Ingles and Mary T. Kuhn. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, May 5, at noon, at St. Joseph's Church in Yonkers. Mrs. Kuhn had directed that her body be donated to New York Medical College in Valhalla, which is affiliated with the archdiocese.
