Mary Rose Kostek, the mother of Father John S. Kostek, died July 22 at Carmel Richmond Nursing Home, Staten Island. She was 89. Father Kostek is pastor of St. Ann's parish on Staten Island. Born in Watervliet, Mrs. Kostek was retired from the New York State Training School in Hudson, the city where she had lived for many years. She is also survived by another son, Edward, of Schenectady, and two brothers, John Hull and Walter Hull. Father Kostek offered the Funeral Mass July 26 at St. Paul's Church in Schenectady, with burial in Cedar Park Cemetery, Hudson.
