Mass Invitation Accepted

I recently took up the challenge made by John Woods in his Editor’s Report column titled “An Advent Invitation (CNY, Dec. 2) when I asked a lapsed Catholic to come to Mass with me. To my surprise, she said “yes” quite readily. We have an appointment to attend the Epiphany Mass together.

As with any challenge, whether sports or financial, there is a commitment to grow and persevere that is part of it. I hope I am given a return invitation to journey with her on the road to being a faithful Catholic.

Please, Mr. Woods, continue to “sit in a quiet pew before Mass” as it has borne fruit for your readers.
