Michael Pappas, of Yonkers, the father of Sister Marie Pappas, C.R., died Aug. 2. He was 82. Sister Marie is the superintendent of schools of the archdiocese. A Funeral Mass was offered Aug. 6 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford. Interment was private.
