Pastor and Administrator Named to Parishes

Father Eric Raaser has been named pastor of St. Margaret of Antioch parish in Pearl River and Father Daniel D’Alliessi has been appointed administrator of St. Mary’s, Wappingers Falls, the Cardinal’s Office has announced.

Father Raaser’s appointment became effective Sept. 25. Father D’Alliessi’s took effect Oct. 1.

Father Raaser had served as temporary administrator of St. Margaret’s since last October. Before that, he had served as pastor of Immaculate Conception-Assumption parish, Tuckahoe, since 2005. He was parochial vicar at St. Benedict’s, the Bronx, 2001-2005; Christ the King, Yonkers, 1989-1993; and St. John’s, Kingsbridge, the Bronx, 1985-1989. He was dean of students at St. John Neumann College Seminary, 2000-2001, and on the faculty at Archbishop Stepinac High School, White Plains, 1993-2000. He was ordained in 1985.

Father D’Alliessi had served as parochial vicar of Our Lady of the Assumption-St. Mary Star of the Sea, the Bronx, since 2012. Before that, he had been a graduate student of moral theology at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He also served as parochial vicar of St. Paul’s, Congers, 2004-2006. He was ordained in 2004.
