Paulist Fathers Ordain Three Priests

Three men were ordained as Paulist Fathers at a Mass in St. Paul the Apostle Church in Manhattan May 20. Bishop Gerald Kicanas of Tuscon, Ariz., was the celebrant and ordaining prelate.

The three new priests are:

Father Matthew Berrios, C.S.P., 29, a native of Grand Rapids, Mich., is graduate of Grand Valley State University and The Catholic University of America. He entered the Paulist seminary upon receiving his undergraduate degree.

Father Steven Petroff, C.S.P., 53, a native of Clarkston, Mich., is a graduate of Oakland University, Georgetown University and The Catholic University of America. He spent 20 years in Los Angeles working in marketing and strategic planning for international companies before entering the Paulist seminary.

Father Stuart Wilson-Smith, C.S.P., 33, a native of Eastern Canada, is graduate of the University of Toronto and The Catholic University of America. He was a musician before entering the Paulist seminary.
