Schools Breakfast

The Catholic School Region of Rockland celebrates its third annual Catholic Schools Breakfast for 335 guests at the Hilton Pearl River March 31. Pictured with Cardinal Dolan are three honorees, from left: Mary Leahy, CEO of Bon Secours Charity Health System, who received the Our Lady of the Rosary Leadership Award, and two retired principals who were presented the St. Dominic Legacy Award: Margaret Hamilton, who served at St. Peter School in Haverstraw from 2002 to 2013, and Sister Stephen Gerard, O.P., who was at St. Paul School in Valley Cottage from 1974 to 2016. More than $60,000 was raised to support scholarships, capital improvements and technology enhancements in the Catholic School Region of Rockland, which provides scholarships for more than 1,200 students in five schools each year.
