Sister Anita Maleski, I.H.M.

Sister Anita Maleski, I.H.M., who taught science at Cathedral High School in Manhattan in the 1980s, died March 3 at her home in Dupont, Pa. She was 75.

She taught at Cathedral High School, 1982-1984. She also taught in Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina.

Born in Avoca, Pa., she entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1963 and made final vows in 1971. She held a master of nursing degree in family nurse practitioner from Pace University.


A private Funeral Mass was planned. Burial was planned at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pa.
