Sister Ann Patrice McKeon, O.P., who served as a nurse and a medical records clerk, died Oct. 14 in the infirmary of the Dominican Sisters of Hope in Newburgh. She was 88. From 1985 until her retirement in 1996, she volunteered as a medical records clerk at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla. She served as nurse to the senior sisters at Mount St. Mary Convent Infirmary in Newburgh, 1978-1980, and in the promotion department of the Dominican Sisters Family Health Services in Ossining, 1980-1985. She also served as a home nurse in Ohio. Born in Manhattan, she entered the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor in 1944 and professed final vows in 1949. She earned her R.N. from Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Edgecliff College in Cincinnati, Ohio. A Funeral Mass was offered Oct. 17 at the Dominican Sisters of Hope Chapel in Newburgh, with burial in the sisters' cemetery in Ossining.
