Sister Ann Teresa Nagy, S.A.

Sister Ann Teresa Nagy, S.A., who had served as a pastoral associate in Cold Spring, died Nov. 22 at St. Francis Convent, Graymoor, Garrison. She was 81. She was a pastoral associate at Our Lady of Loretto parish, Cold Spring, from 1988 to 2002, when she entered the sisters' infirmary. Before that, in an overlapping assignment, she served at Graymoor Ecumenical Institute, Garrison, 1985-1989, and at the Ecumenical Institute's Manhattan office, 1984-1985. She also served in various ministries of the community in California and Pennsylvania and in Canada. Born in Bethlehem, Pa., she entered the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement in 1943 and professed final vows in 1950. She held a bachelor's degree from California State University, Bakersfield, and a master's from the University of San Francisco. Surviving are a sister, Eileen Davis, and a brother, Donald. A Funeral Mass was offered Nov. 27 in the Motherhouse Chapel at Graymoor, with burial in the sisters' cemetery.
