Sister M. Ann Patrick Boddie, F.M.S.C., who taught in the archdiocese, died May 28. She was 83.

She taught at Assumption School, Peekskill, and St. Anthony Bronx Head Start. Sister Ann also served in the Joseph P. Kennedy Home, the Bronx. She was director of Villa St. Francis, Peekskill. She also was local superior of the motherhouse in Peekskill.

Sister Ann also taught in Philadelphia and New Jersey, where she did outreach ministry in Fairview. Born in Peekskill, she entered the Franciscan

Sisters of Peekskill in 1956 and made final vows in 1963. She held a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Jersey City State College.

In recent years at Mount St. Francis Convent in Peekskill, Sister Ann operated the switchboard and helped with craft projects for the shops.

She is survived by her siblings Mary, Patricia, James, Robert, Ellen, Katherine and Eileen

Burial took place June 1 at the sisters' cemetery in Peekskill. A Memorial Mass and celebration of her life will be offered at a later date.
