Sister M. Maristella Walsh, I.H.M., who taught in two Manhattan schools, died July 10 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, Pa. She was 81. She taught at St. Ann's School, East Harlem, 1990-2002, and at St. Stephen's School, 1988-1990. She also taught in other schools in the tri-state area and in Baltimore. Born in Manhattan, she entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1944 and professed final vows in 1950. She held a bachelor's degree from Marywood College in Scranton. A Funeral Mass was offered July 14 at Our Lady of Peace Residence, with burial in St. Catherine Cemetery, Moscow, Pa.
