Sister Margaret Mary Caulson, I.H.M.

Sister Margaret Mary Caulson, I.H.M., who taught at Holy Trinity School in Poughkeepsie, died May 5 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, Pa. She was 74.

She taught at Holy Trinity, 1975-1977. She also was a teacher in Pennsylvania and in Queens and Long Island.

She was a residential counselor and house parent at Boys Hope Girls Hope on Staten Island, 2000-2002.

Born in Dunmore, Pa., she entered the Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1959 and professed final vows in 1967. She was formerly known as Sister Mary Ronan.

She is survived by three brothers, Frank, Charles and James; and five sisters, Mary Agnes Kellerman, Sister Beatrice Caulson, I.H.M., Joan Pope, Ann Marie Salva and Alice Caulson.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated May 10 at Our Lady of Peace Residence. Burial followed at a later date at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pa.
