Sister Marie Kieran Devery, S.C., who served for 40 years as an administrative assistant at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan, died March 29 at that hospital. She was 85. She was at St. Vincent's from 1960 until her retirement in 2000. From 1956 to 1960, she was head of personnel and housekeeping at St. Vincent's Hospital on Staten Island. Born in Manhattan, she entered the Sisters of Charity of New York in 1953 after attending Cathedral High School and Holy Cross Business School, both in Manhattan. She made final vows in 1961. Her survivors include a nephew, Msgr. John J. O'Keefe, pastor of St. Margaret's parish in Pearl River. A Funeral Mass was offered March 31 at St. Vincent's Hospital Chapel in Manhattan. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village, Queens.
