Sister Mary Arthur DeLaurier, S.A., who worked in the gift shop of the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement at Graymoor in Garrison, died March 18 at the infirmary there. She was 85. She served at the sisters' gift shop from 1988 until 1997, when she did administrative work at the motherhouse until retiring. She previously served in other ministries of the community in the United States. Born in Ogdensburg, she entered the religious community in 1940 and professed final vows in 1947. She is survived by a brother, Arthur. A Funeral Mass was offered March 22 in the motherhouse chapel, with burial in the sisters' cemetery at Graymoor.
