Sister Mary Christine Augustine, C.R., who performed office and clerical duties at schools in the archdiocese, died Feb. 20 at Resurrection Nursing Home in Castleton. She was 91. She served for a total of 36 years at Maria Regina High School in Hartsdale, including 1960-1961 and from 1971 until last year. She also was assigned to the following schools: St. Francis, Newburgh; St. Clemens Mary, Manhattan; St. Joseph's, Poughkeepsie; and St. Casimir's, Yonkers. Born in Fall River, Mass., she professed final vows with the Sisters of the Resurrection in 1946. A Funeral Mass was offered Feb. 23 at the Sisters of the Resurrection Provincialate Chapel in Castleton. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery there.
