Sister Mary Daniel, of the Blessed Sacrament Lynch, O.Carm., who served for many years at St. Patrick’s Home in the Bronx, died there Dec. 12, her 92nd
birthday. She served in the Social Services Department of St. Patrick’s Home, a nursing home and rehabilitation center, from 1953 until retiring several years ago. In her early years with the community she served at Cathedral Faculty House and Mount Carmel Home in Manhattan and at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie. Born in Manhattan, she entered the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm in 1943 and professed final vows in 1953. She is survived by a sister, Anne Lynch. A Funeral Mass was offered Dec. 18 at St. Patrick’s Home, with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
