Sister Mary Lourdes Kirko, O. Carm., who served at St. Patrick's Home for the Aged and Infirm in the Bronx for 31 years, died Oct. 6. She was 70. She served at St. Patrick's from 1975 until her death. Earlier, she served at nursing homes in Philadelphia, Pa., and West Palm Beach, Fla. Born in Detroit, Mich., she entered the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm in 1958 and professed final vows in 1965. A Funeral Mass was offered on Oct. 12 at St. Patrick's Home, with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
