Sister Patricia Stack, I.H.M., a teacher at St. Ann’s Elementary School in Manhattan for seven years, died Dec. 29 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, Pa. She was 80.
She taught at St. Ann’s, 1984-1991. She also served in Nassau County, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Born in Beaver, Pa., she entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1957 and professed final vows in 1965.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s in reading, both from Marywood College in Scranton.
Her sister, Mary Ann Cronin, survives her.
A Funeral Mass was offered Jan. 3 at Our Lady of Peace Residence. Burial was at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pa.
