CatholicNYC Presents speaker series will feature a talk by Mother Clare Matthiass, C.F.R., followed by a question and answer session, Thursday, April 23, from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m., on CatholicNYC Facebook Live. April 24 Via Google Meet

Goretti EGroup, for young adult singles and married couples between the ages of 18 and 24, will discuss the Church’s teachings on marriage and the family Friday, April 24, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. via Google Meet.

Public Policy Office Discusses Hope Amid
Coronavirus on Zoom

Discussion & Discipleship, hosted by the archdiocesan Public Policy Office, will offer an online Zoom presentation, “Hope During Uncertainty,” Friday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m.

The program addresses hope amid the global coronavirus crisis and highlights how to be authentically hopeful in the midst of human suffering, what the Catholic Church teaches about hope and how to live out the theological virtue of hope on a practical level.

Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland 
to
Host Virtual Blessing of Soil Event April 25

Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland will host the annual Blessing of the Soil family event Saturday, April 25, at noon via livestream on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CatholicCharity

After the blessing, the virtual gathering will include a presentation on the benefits of eating fresh produce, how to put together a healthy salad, a talk on the health advantages of gardening, a demonstration on how to create a simple container garden as well as a cooking demonstration, among other offerings.
