Father James Sheehan, a priest of the archdiocese for 41 years, has been awarded a fellowship to participate in the Encore Transition Program at Union Theological Seminary in Manhattan.
Father Sheehan is currently chaplain at Hostos Community College and Bronx Community College of the City University of New York.
The Encore program is designed to bring theological reflection to aging and transitional issues on life’s journey. The spring semester course will be conducted via Zoom.
