A Mass and dedication ceremony for Savio Hall at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, N.J., took place Sept. 21. New York Auxiliary Bishop John J. O’Hara, a 1963 graduate of Don Bosco Prep, celebrated Mass with Father Timothy Ploch, S.D.B., councilor of the Salesians’ InterAmerica Region, and Father Timothy Zak, S.D.B., provincial of the Salesians’ Eastern U.S. Province. After the Mass, Bishop O’Hara led a procession of more 1,200 people to Savio Hall for the ribbon cutting. Savio Hall has a dining gallery, robotics lab, high-tech business track classroom and six additional classrooms. The school will dedicate its Sacred Heart Chapel Nov. 1.
