Rose Margaret Moran, a longtime parishioner of St. Brendan’s parish in the Bronx, died Feb. 6. She was 90.
Ms. Moran was a daily communicant and served as a lector, sang in the choir, taught religious education classes and led fundraising and blood drive efforts for St. Brendan’s.
She taught in public elementary and middle school for almost 40 years in the Bronx.
Her brother, James, and her sisters, Mary Agnes Clark and Ellen Flannery, survive her.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 10 in St. Brendan’s Church, the Bronx. Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
