Father Thomas F. Donnelly, M.M., who served in Kenya for 17 years, died April 2 in the assisted living center at Maryknoll. He was 92.
Father Donnelly was in Kenya, 1987-1995 and 1973-1982. He did development work for Maryknoll in New York for a year. He also served in Tanzania, Washington, Hawaii, California and Texas.
Born in Philadelphia, he served in the U.S. Navy and he was present at the first Mass celebrated in Antarctica. He entered the Maryknoll Fathers in 1948 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1957.
His sister, Katharine Bradley, survives him.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated April 6 in Queen of Apostles Chapel in Ossining. Burial was in Maryknoll Society Cemetery.
