Sister Ann Napoli, F.S.P., who taught at a number of elementary schools in the archdiocese, died June 25 at Cabrini Nursing Home, Dobbs Ferry. She was 94.

She taught in Westchester County at Our Lady of Victory School, Mount Vernon, 1985-1990; Immaculate Conception, Irvington-on-Hudson, 1979-1981; Assumption School, Peekskill, 1964-1972; St. Patrick’s, Verplanck, 1962-1964; St. Teresa’s, Tarrytown, 1960-1962; St. Matthew’s, Hastings-on-Hudson, 1957-1960; Holy Name of Mary, Croton, 1955-1956; St. Patrick’s, Yorktown Heights, 1954-1955 and Our Lady of Loretto, Cold Spring, 1948-1950.

She was a librarian and work assistant at Sacred Heart School, Yonkers, 1991-1999 and a staff member at Queen of Angels, Peekskill, 1978-1979. She taught at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Manhattan, 1950-1954, as well as in Little Falls, Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Born in Manhattan, she entered the Franciscan Sisters at Peekskill in 1944 and professed final vows in 1951.

Formerly known at Sister Perpetua, she earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Ladycliffe College, Highland Falls.

A Funeral Mass was offered June 27 at Marian Woods, Hartsdale. Burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Yonkers.
