Sister M. Anine Hopkins, I.H.M., who taught for five years at Holy Trinity School in Poughkeepsie, died May 21 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, Pa. She was 89.
Sister Anine was at Holy Trinity, 1961-1966. She also served in Brooklyn, Oyster Bay, East Rockaway, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
Born in Scranton, she entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1950 and professed final vows in 1956.
Funeral and graveside services were private. Burial was in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow, Pa.
