Sister M. St. William Lynch, I.H.M., who taught at Holy Trinity School in Poughkeepsie, died Jan. 30 at Regional Hospital in Scranton, Pa. She was 91.
She was a teacher at Holy Trinity, 1955-1962. She also served at Our Lady of Mercy School in Forest Hills, Queens, as a teacher, 1976-1978, and principal, 1978-1984.
She also served at schools in Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina.
Born in Jessup, Pa., she entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1942 and professed final vows in 1948.
A Funeral Mass was offered Feb. 3 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton. Interment followed at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pa.
